Dianne is joined by elder law attorney Stephen Spano, from the Law Offices of Spano & Dawicki, with whom she has shared several clients. Stephen and Dianne discussed the importance for families dealing with elder care issues to identify an attorney who specializes in elder law or complimentary fields, and reviewed the Estate Planning documents Stephen suggests everyone have on hand before an emergency strikes.
Stephen also shared his perspective on Healthassist’s role on an elder care team, as in the case of “Pauline R.,” a 95-year-old client who wanted to return home after receiving long-term care at a Massachusetts nursing and rehabilitation center.
