Dianne Savastano is Founder and Principal of Healthassist, a Massachusetts-based company founded in 2004 that specializes in helping clients navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.
Beginning as a registered nurse providing direct patient care, Dianne’s 25-year career includes roles as a hospital, insurance and employee benefits executive and as a management consultant. Her experience has taught her to ensure that the healthcare consumer is at the center of the healthcare equation.
A frequent, sought-after speaker, Dianne has delivered programs covering a wide range of critical healthcare-related topics covering patient advocacy, Medicare choices, healthcare reform and more. In addition, she has been interviewed in both national and local media, including Boston Women’s Business, The Detroit Free Press, Financial Advisor Magazine, Yahoo Health, and National Public Radio’s Morning Edition. Further, she has appeared as an expert guest on the PBS Second Opinion Series and presented at the Massachusetts Conference for Women.
Dianne received her BS in Nursing from Rhode Island College and her MBA from Simmons College in Boston. As a founding member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants and a board member for five years, Dianne was instrumental in the development of its Code Of Ethics.
An avid outdoorswoman, Dianne sails frequently out of Newport, Rhode Island, bikes regularly (she’s completed several Pan Mass Challenges) and enjoys skiing with friends and family.
Anne Jacoby

As Healthcare Advisor at Healthassist, Anne works to develop strong, supportive and collaborative partnerships with clients, their families and the interdisciplinary healthcare members who care for them.
With a healthcare career spanning more than 30 years, Anne has worked as a healthcare advisor, a private case manager, a legal nurse consultant, a supervisor of home healthcare teams, and as an educator and administrator in a variety of academic settings. In addition, she has extensive, hands-on nursing experience, including work as a nurse clinician with patients in the critical care unit. She has also published in refereed healthcare journals and presented at numerous symposiums from the local to national level.
Taken together, Anne’s tenure and experience give her an awareness of the challenges we all face in navigating an increasingly complex healthcare system.
Anne received her Ph.D. in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, her BSN and MSN from the University Of Nebraska College Of Nursing, and her certification as a cardiovascular nurse specialist from The Methodist Hospital (Houston, TX). She is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants.
Rene Duval

As Healthassist’s Business Manager, Rene is responsible for overall client support and the smooth operation of the firm. Drawing on her experiences across a broad range of positions and industries, Rene is an expert troubleshooter, with a knack for uncorking bottlenecks and solving problems, whether technical, personal or somewhere in-between.
Rene has a graduate certificate in Business Administration from Salem State University and a BS in Organizational Management from Daniel Webster College in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Camille Barron

A Healthcare Advisor specializing in Medicare and insurance-related issues, Camille provides education, enrollment and ongoing support to Healthassist clients. She is particularly skilled at simplifying the complexities of insurance as well in helping individuals transition easily to Medicare coverage.
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Camille’s experience includes positions in life, health, and personal lines property casualty insurance. In addition, she is a Medicare-certified, licensed life and health broker, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and a certified Project Manager.
Camille received her BS in Communications from Boston University and has completed graduate courses in leadership and project management at Bryant University. She is a member of the Project Management Institute; the Rotary Club of Sharon, MA; the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals; and the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy Consultants. In addition, she is producer and co-host of “The Law, Your Money and You!”, a cable TV show featuring financial and legal literacy advice for consumers.
